Dr Austin Bowden-Kerby is the founder of C4C and the UNESCO endorsed “Reefs of Hope” Decade Action. Raised in the South Pacific and USA, Austin is now a pioneer in the field of coral reef restoration, having worked in both the Pacific and Caribbean for over 35 years. He now leads training workshops and has established coral recovery sites in five Caribbean and 8 South Pacific nations. While also operating a 37-acre permaculture farm and hatchery for climate adapted chickens to support communities setting aside no-take tabu areas and planting corals for climate change adaptation.

Annelise McDougall
Annelise is a true citizen of the world. Though born in the USA she grew up as a Third Culture Kid and has travelled all over the world. She first connected with C4C as an intern completing her masters research in Fiji. After earning her Master of Professional Science in Tropical Marine Ecosystem Management from the University of Miami, she returned to C4C as the Program Manager.

Laisani Waqairadovu
Laisani is a Indigenious Fijian and was born and raised in Fiji. She first connected with C4C by attending one of their regional workshops in 2021 at the main site in Plantation Island Resort(PIR) and later on in the same year she joined the marine team as a marine volunteer. She graduated with a Bachelors in Marine Science at the University of the South Pacific in 2023 and right after graduation she joined C4C as a field technician and is currently the acting Site Manager.
